Sealing
Various sealants for sealing around Basins, Kitchen Sinks, Bathtub etc are available with us. These products are easy to use and sealing can be done by yourself! Here is a step-by-step guide of how to seal around a basin:
Step 1: Clean the Old sealant
Use a craft knife and slice away any old sealant. Make sure the surfaces are as clean as possible and remove any grease and dirt, to prepare the surface for the new sealant.

Step 2: Test The Sealant
Cut the tip of the sealant nozzle at 45 degrees, about 1.5-2 cm from the end. Then unscrew the nozzle to trim off the tube seal. After screwing on the nozzle again, fit the tube into a mastic gun. Test the sealant flows out smoothly.

Step 3: Apply The Sealant
Starting in a corner, gently press the gun's trigger moving continuously to form the bead around the basin lip. Stop when you have applied sealant to the area you want to treat.

Step 4: Smooth The Sealant
Using the flat edge of a spatula or knife create a seal that completely covers the joint between the sink and the worktop. Run your finger along the bead in a smooth action so the edges blend with the basin edge and worktop. Then do not touch the sealant until it is dry, but carefully wash any spilt sealant away from other parts of the basin. You can use disposable latex gloves to protect your hands.
